My name is Sveta Butko and I'm a self-taught professional child and family photographer based in Israel.
I’ve studied architecture in Moscow Architectural Institute for 11 years and have PhD degree. I have
worked as architect for a few years before the photography came to my life. About two years ago I left
behind my architect career and have started professional photographer career.
I’ve started to capture the purity of my children’s childhood and the amazing bond between kids and
animals. Nowadays when such things as love, innocence, friendship, tenderness, fidelity, devotion have
lost their meanings . When there are so many wars and conflicts, so many children suffering from pain,
from emotional traumas, with dreams that will never come true, I want to show in my art and to remind
people that we need to preserve what we have and provide better future for our kids by saving their
feelings and giving them a harmony living that is found around us – in nature.
I’m lecture and giving workshops in Israel and around the world. My works and lectures are published in
local and international press and exhibited on the International Art Exhibitions. My images were chosen
by Canon Russia to be shown in its galleries online. I have my works in prestigious British art agency –
My style is cozy and quiet and shows the depth of child feelings, their purity , innocence and the
importance of the bond between kids and someone that accepts them as they are, give them power,
confidence and sure in our unstable world.
I believe that the more of your soul you put in your art – more soul in your art one will see.
